  3. Wow it has been amazing seeing all the progress....congrats December group. I myself start a bariatric support group on July 15th. I just felt compelled to give back in this area. On a personal note I am doing great and feel great. Due to holiday got the 6th month check up coming soon. The appointment got postponed due to holiday. I am hoping for good test results.

  7. Received package and was delighted with the thoughtful gifts I received. She could not have chose any better if she would have known me as best friend.
  8. Bless you! Yep gotta love the mental depression that shows up with surgery, it does pass. I cried over what yogurt to buy at the store. Hang in there.
  9. Keep trying it does get better.
  10. I noticed I do not sweat anymore. I go pee about 3-4 times a day. I drink around 40 oz. and no UTI (knock on wood). In all the books I have read or articles it seems that is the natural thing to do because of less food being broke down and liquid intake. Hippee I agree go see a doctor just to get it checked out.
  11. New Whey at Walmart . Liquid . Amazon sells it for 24.00. Had worked for me when other proteins ( whey) has not

  19. Great news and the diabetics of the group will understand this. Went to Dr. today and I am officially off all Meds now and the A1C was 6.9. If I do not lose another pound I have achieved my goal all ready. Even through all of our adversities it is possible to achieve our individual goals through this surgery.
  20. Gen I am do sorry you are having to endure this, my prayers are with you and your family.

  22. Wow I have just finished catching up on 10 pages of posts and all I can say is bless you all and praying for you. I have missed reading and knowing all that is going on. I am doing okay I guess. Protein still is an issue. I pretty much can eat anything. I have lost 72 lbs since December 4. I have been blessed not to have had many complications. I have recently have been experiencing a headache every time I eat. I am getting to the point to eat seems very nauseating. I have tried changing up foods, going back to the basics but it still happens. I am not sure what to do abut it. Any suggestions would be great. I am very proud of all of the group! Gen hang in there and know a multitude of prayers are being lifted for your health to be completely restored. Prayers being said for all who are experiencing infection issues of any kind, may the antibiotics do there job and restore you back to good health. For the new ones in the group welcome and welcome to the losers bench. I also want to wish everyone a happy Valentine's Day!
