I am on the way home from the hospital after visiting a friend that had RNY a year ago last Nov. she lost slow for the first few months, but the started getting sick from what she was eating and started loosing quickly. Yesterday she had to have surgery to remove 6" of her small intestine that had collapsed down in on itself and rotted a quarter sized hole in it due to fast weight loss. So fast is not always good! I a slow loser too but at least I am losing! I am happy with that! Teresa DOS 12/20/12

My surgery was 3 days after yours. I was fine in the beginning but not anymore. Did you have problems early on? Teresa

I am 9 weeks out now and food is not my friend at all! It doesn't matter what I eat, if its solid, it feels like i ate rocks. Ugg
