I was done 7 september....so about 10 weeks now.

Am really struggling to loose fast. Do exercise, drink lots of Water, but think i dont get enough protein!! I have only lost 17 kg. Is that very slow?? Feels like it.

Suppose I will have to get a shake and some Protein powder....grrrrrrrrr

It took you awhile to gain the weight so be patient. You try to lose too fast your body will slow down your metabolism at some point. Are you on our September to Remember face book page? If not join us...it's great info and a fun group of people that all had surgery in sept..

Ill be ten weeks tomorrow its crazy how fast time goes. I really hope that i can continue to lose weight for at least a couple more months at the same rate as now. I went from 297 to 255. Im thrilled. I did think I would loose more faster but I can't say that Im not happy.

I've been sick so the Dr gave me two ivs with abx. And now the scale says I've gained 2 lbs.. Had anyone else had this happen. I haven't been able to really ready anything due to my sore throat. So could it be the fluids

I had something similar happen and i knew that I would gain so didnt worry too much about it. I can gain over 2 lbs easy from morning to night ! Ive recently hid my scales from myself because i have become a slave to it.

I hope you feel better soon!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
