Surgery Is Done!

And I feel great!

I have read so many posts saying they regretted their decision for the first week but not me. Yes there's the expected pain but I'm 36 hours out of surgery and can get in and out of bed with esse and can walk comfortably.

So excited for the rest of my life ahead of me!

So good to hear!! I am hoping for those same results when I have surgery in a few weeks.

At first when I woke up from surgery I was like "OMG why did I do this" of course after the day wore on and I got use to the uncomfortableness I was OK. Once I got up and started moving around and was able to walk off the gas I was good to go and never regretted the surgery after that.

Glad everything is going well!

Glad everything is going great!! I was the opposite, first 48 were great then About 26 of hell then great so keep it up!

I had thoughts of regret my first night home. I couldn't get comfortable, I was full of gas and couldnt pass gas. my pee stream was weak so naturally I looked up stuff on the Internet and scared my self half to death with stuff I read. But I ended up getting through the night and that was 2 days ago and I haven't had the thought of regret since. I know I have a long way to go still do we shall see.

Glad you are doing well. I wouldn't say I'm horrible but no matter how much I walk I can't pass the gas & my left side is killing me. Also having trouble urinating l, anyone else having that?

My roommate at the hospital had a hard time urinating. Drink your three mini cups an hour and with your iv drip out should come. As for pain on the left side yep I got it and gas just walk it out. Three days after surgery I'm still getting rid of gas although it doesn't hurt anymore

The urine is there, I'm just having a hard time communicating with my body "ok, its time to let go"

Congratulation!! Now for the journey of a lifetime!!
