  2. Thanks everyone! I feel better! I am struggling a little with Protein and Water somedays. I get about 500 calories a day sometimes more. I will try to get these things up and get some more walking in. I am still very sore especially on my left side so I can't do much more which is frustrating me more because I hate not being able to move around like normal. I will also try to fight my addiction to the scale! Lol
  3. I've been hating my arms as far as I can remember! Now that they are starting to get loose I hate them more! In NYC, the price to get bracioplasty (I hope I spelled that right) is roughly $6000.-$8000. Bucks! I hope my insurance will cover it some how bucause I hate them so much that I may consider stealing some supplies from school/work and doing it myself at home!!! Lol
  4. I'm 2 weeks and 4 days post op and my weight is stuck already!!!! I was losing 1lb a day and now I haven't lost anything in a few days! I am doing the same thing as before...I even started taking walks (the other day I walked most of the jersey gardens mall) and nothing! I'm scared. I don't want to fail at this!!! Anyone else go/going thru this???
  5. Sorry about all the new meds...hope they are only temporary.
  6. How exciting!!!! You planning on doing something special for it? Tatoo or a new outfit?
  7. That magnesium citrate is no joke! Lol good luck with your surgery!
  8. WOW Katie!!! You have done so well! Inspirational!!!!!
  9. I had mine done on 8/20 and I still have pain especially on the left side. Sitting up is murder...so is laughing, coughing and sneezing. Other than that I'm ok....having pain for a few weeks is normal and everyone is different.
  10. Thanks ladies! My friend said it wasn't about the fruit itself or the texture but more the seeds. Shes telling me that the seeds could get caught in the staple line inside my stomach or something... I dunno. It sounds a bit ridiculous but hey with this surgery a lot of things are. Anyhow, I think I will buy some and try. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger right?? Lol (so sick of the plain shakes!)
  11. I think so. Everyones body is different 2 people of the same weight and height can still have a different body type. Everyone carries their weight differently. Don't judge your body by someone else's...your goal weight should be based on how you feel when you look in the mirror as long as its healthy.
  12. Are we allowed to eat strawberries or raspberries at 2 weeks out? I want to blend a few into my shake but someone told me that was a no-no. My surgeon or nutritionist never mentioned them and they are closed for the holiday....anyone been told not to for any reason?? Thanks!
  13. Lil sips at a time and it has to be very cold.
