I'm also 9 months post op

Last night after supper I got this crazy pain starting just below where my ribs meet. It kept getting worse and it still hurts this morning albeit not as badly. Has anybody had this? It doesn't feel like the dumping I've experienced and it's lasting so long!!

Anyone from Ottawa?

Oh my gosh! That explains why my skin is so dry this year! I thought it was the winter and I'm living in a high rise now. It's driving me insane!

I dilute all my juice with water. My nurse said g2 was a good option post op. Powerade also makes a zero calorie drink. It tastes normal to me and it's nice having something with flavor since just water makes me get the foamies.

I went to the hospital 2 nights ago with kidney stones and since then I can't keep anything down. Thankfully I can drink (for the most part) but if I try to eat I end up vomiting. Any suggestions? I don't want to make my health worse but I can't be forcing myself to eat either.

The good guys are out there! I've been seeing someone for about a month and just told him about the surgery. He didn't even bat an eye! His aunt had had it and he knows all about it.

I've just started dating as well. I tend to avoid food on the first few dates. But I always just say that I'm really watching what I eat and I really don't have a big appetite. If they aren't understanding then I doubt they would be supportive of your choice to have the surgery. I'm still nervous about when I have to tell a guy about the surgery though...
