Any Canadians Out There?

Hi there! I was just checking the Canadian forum and I don't see anyone on here. I am from Alberta and just had gastric bypass on July 4th. I am looking to connect with other Canadians because I have found a lot of the products recommended are not available in Canada. Thanks

Hi. Thanks for replying...even if you aren't Canadian. lol I am two weeks post up now and I am feeling some pain on my left side. I am tired a lot. My first week post op I think I overdid it. I went on long walks and thought I was feeling good enough to go out with friends to walk the mall. My body got back at me and I have been tired ever since.I am taking it easy.

How has your recovery been?

Been awhile since I've been on here I'm 8 week post op. still having issues getting food to digest properly. But I'm losing which is amazing. So Jan 2012 I started at 304 I'm now 229. 268 at surgery on aug 29. Love the reaction I'm getting from friends and family but most of all I love my new body and lifestyle would not change for world!!!!

Congrats! Sounds like you are doing great. I'm from T.O and I had my surgery on Sept 5. Sounds like we are at a pretty similar place. What foods have you been having problems with digesting? Hope things improve for you soon. Good luck.
