    Crazy.. But Please Help!

Sounds awful! I'm taking Senna and have been since surgery :8wks post op). I suggest getting some and crushing them up with some yogurt...tastes a little weird but much better then that yucky stuff your currently taking. Good luck and welcome to the other side:)
  4. So after 8 wks post op the hype about my surgery has gone down which I'm grateful of however now I feel left to fend for myself. It's been me this whole time but there's a sense of loneliness that seems to come through and I give up eating anything right or at all...which scares me. Only lasts a day and then good but still...ugh
  5. 7wks post op and down 45lbs and I'm starting to notice all kinds of changes, for instance how much more space I have to clean things up down town, lol. Also, the space entered my belly and my thighs...well there's actually space there! Own side is I'm clumsy as hell, like I'm learning how to walk all over again...it's all kinda cool

  7. Didn't think the aches, pains and the extremely limited diet would ever end but it has! I'm feeling great, love limiting myself too, feels like I'm in control again. Sending each of you love and prayers and remember be kind to yourself no matter stage your at, especially those that are years out and possibly gaining. xo
  8. His wk I started eating between 1000-1200 calories...which is normal diet for loosing weight and somehow I gained! Granted I've been eating some things with sodium in it which could have caused the weight gain...very strange. Hating this who process at the moment.

    6Wks Out, Gained 1.4Lbs

You guys saved me today! Wow my gilt was setting in. As for obsessing about the scale, that's definitly not my issue, I use the scale to help me determine what my body is doing. When I gain a pound and a half that means something is going on, for example Water retention or whichever. I think the scale, like the surgery, is a tool in itself. When I'm curious about weight gain it's because I'm interested to know what's going on in my body, not because I'm demanding weight loss. I've been so focused on surviving after surgery that once I started eating normally'esk I got really freaked out. Good to know my system and body is stronger then that. Thanks to ech of you for saving my mental health. xoxo

    Moontime possibly...who the hell knows
  12. Feeling a strong sense of flat affect since I was triggered emotionally yesterday. I have eaten 3 bit size chocolate bars in 2 days and a handful of chips...I'm getting my moontime (menstral) soon I'm sure but man I'm having a hard time filing my stomach. I almost vomitted for the first time today eating chicken and veggies cause I was eating so fast. I have been feeling this way once every few wks...I understand that mental health can go down after surgery but I guess I didn't anticipate these feelings. I'm 5.5wks out...tell me it gets easier. Signing off hopeful..
  13. Welcome to the loosing bench, it gets a little crazy on this side but the journey is worth the destination. Rest up and get to walking as soon a you can:)
  14. 1 pain killer for 2 days after post op, otherwise nothing since. (5.5wks out)
  15. Ow do I get my keystones back up? I was going strong and now there's only a trace...I've also been sick for almost a week.

    Potato Chips

I'm 5 wks post op and had chips tonight along with a few crackers. They were the only thing that I could eat without making me sick...I've been fighting a flu for a week now. As long as these don't become an every day treat I'm not sure you should worry too much. My only concern with my crackers and chips today is the guilt that I would usually put on myself, so I just don't. It's that guilt that's the start of the ugly cycle of emotional eating an feelings of unworthyness, steer clear of there my dear. One meal at a time, one day at a time and one pound at a time.

    Keytones

    Thanks you two:)
  18. Just one of those days where everyone seems to be on one side and I'm on the other. I'm sick with a flu/cold and can barely eat and somehow gained a lb today which is different for me not that I'm anywhere near concerned about a pound. I'm different, life is changing drastically and I'm a little lonesome for old me...

    Late Nights..

I definitely get out but it's the length of time that I can stay out that has changed...thanks for the boost ladies. Also, just realized I'm starting to get sick:( ugh
  22. Ate nights just don't work for me anymore! I'm 4.5wks post op and the day/night I decide to push myself to do a little more I end up exhausted the following day and watch movies..which I kinda love..I love my alone time at home but I grieve my old lifestyle. Going out with friends all the time, late nights, early mornings...sigh'
