Just sitting here pulling my hair out reading all this. Lol. So I have a dilemma, my wife & I have been together since we were 17 were now 36. When we met I was 350lbs 6'2" she was 5'11" 145lbs, she was a self proclaimed chubby chaser. Since I've gone from 440lbs to 200lbs her sex drive is gone and she should be in her prime @ mid 30's right.

Maybe other things are bothering her. Do u guys have kids? Does she work full time? Maybe she's just exhausted.

I know that I need foreplay. So don't just go up to her and hump her, lol. Start by sitting and just hanging out with her and work ur way up to it.

Ladies I do have a question. Before surgery I could deep throat the hubster but wasn't sure if that is not the best thing to do now or does it make a difference? Im just afraid it will make me puke or something. Took me forever to ask this on here. Lol

Try the basics. Romance her. Flowers. Cards. Cook her a dinner or start a date night. Hold her hand. Talk to her. Listen. Remind her that you are the same guy as before only better.

I just turned 30 and ur right we hit ours later than men. My bf is 38 and at first struggled to keep up with me and he's a Marine. He got it tho and now he can make me tap out first. My friends who aren't gb are hitting theirs too and can't get enough. In my marriage he only had sex with me when we were on fertility treatments. My relationship now we have sex ateast four times a week. I'm also very attracted to him which is a plus. Gb changes a lot for ppl and I've known the best marriages to part bc they just lost compatibility or bc of sheer envy and jealousy. My marriage was different I found out he had been having homosexual affairs our entire marriage. Ultimately mine ended bc my ex could no longer hide behind me and use the excuse that I was unattractive. He got so angry when this occured too. He's now remarried to a woman who is very unattractive and very heavy much more than I was. I tried to say I'd support my ex if he were gay but he likes to pretend something he's not and he's not a straight man. Hope I helped ya some. :-D

I had no issue and love doing it but was worried if there is any difference after surgery. Guess I will just have to try.

Dude fist bump...u officially stumped Google LOL. I couldn't find anything besides it can cause stomach cramps but that article wasn't attributed to gb patients.

If it was pure sugar or white flour I could see it triggering dumping syndrome but its mostly Protein and salt... But I'll never truly know and will take y'all's word on it LoL

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
