21 Pounds Down 10 Days Out Of Surgery

I went for surgery on may 21st weighing 262 and before I started the whole process my highest weight was 271 I am now 241 yayyy me I went to my first follow up appointment yesterday incisions are looking good still a Lil pain and tenderness but I'm doing much better I got clearance to start the gym so I will be going starting next week treadmill and very light lifting probably 5 pounds so hopefully I will be reporting more weight loss I will only weigh in at the doctors it gives more suspense I think lol and something to look forward too...

    Good luck with that! Lol I think I am going to need rehab to stay off the scales. I'm on it sometimes twice a day. Its my new bad habit. Congrats to the both of you on your weight loss!

I'm trying not to weigh myself because I don't want to be scale crazy lol I don't want to drive myself crazy if I gain a pound or don't loose anything...

Yeah I learned not to when I went to curves gym they would only let you weigh in once a month lol so I'm trying to stick to it so I can be excited when I go to the doctors

I asked my wife to hide the scale lol

John, my husband hide the scales on me during my preop diet. I was too obsessed with worrying about not losing enough weight. I had my surgery May 30 th and will weigh in on June 11 at my first post op appt with my surgeon. After that my husband is getting the scales out from hiding once a week! Thank God for spouses lol
