I still get gas and I'm 30 weeks out. And mine has a tendency to come untrapped at the most awkward times!! Wonder if anyone manufacturers RNY post-op corks? ;-)

I do the gas thing to! Lol. And yes it comes out at the most inopportune moments

I've noticed I've become very uncouth and just burp out loud whenever the need arises. I have to do it though because it hurts otherwise!

Beano

I was wondering if it was safe to take beano? All I ever see mentioned on these threads is gas x. Surgery is on march 25 and I'm getting prepared ahead of time.. I have enough problems with gas pre surgery.. Lol

Milk of magnesia works really well in loving that gas along. For me it was much better than gasx.

Loving! No one lives gas!! Moving that gas along.

I took gas x strips with me, but my hospital wouldn't let me use anything. Luckily I didn't have, or maybe I was in such other pain i didn't feel the gas pains :)
