Tummy tuck today!

Hey folks. Had my TT today. They removed 6 pounds of skin. 2 giant pieces like the one on the picture. I'll get some photos of me posted as soon as I'm able, but wanted to let everyone know it all went well.

I'm in the hospital tonight and I'll go home tomorrow. I've got 3 drains....how in the world do you folks walk around in public with these things?

The doc came in earlier and opened up the binder for a second to take a look....holy crap! I don't recognize myself. It's so unbelievable. Now let the recovery begin.

Btw not much pain right now, morphine is awesome!!!!

So this is half of what they cut out.

Wow, 6lbs of skin? Is that above average? That's awesome. When this is all done I bet you will be very happy with the results.

Congrats on shedding the "final" piece.

I was going to click on your photos of the skin and see them "larger" ...but I just ate some Breakfast, so maybe later. ;)

Day 4 and I'm feeling very good. No pain pills needed. Wish I could stand up straight but other than that not having much problems....other than bored already. I'll try to get some pics when I can but not sure how since I cannot stand up straight yet.

I've got 3 drains. One is barely producing 20cc a day but one is upward of 180cc yesterday. But it's not very dark, kinda pink cool aide color. Hopefully it will slow down soon.

Alright. Finally got a pic. Keep in mind I'm hunched over like Quasimodo. It will be even better when I can stand up straight.

Wow butter that is a clean line!!

You look awesome! Already!!!!

Wow! You look great!! I bet that's very rewarding to see, after all your hard work. Good for you.

Looking great Butter! Wishing you a safe and speedy recovery!

M2G I have heard that anywhere from 5 - 10 lbs of skin for every 100 lbs lost is an estimate with body contouring post massive WL. But as with everything, I am sure it is different for everyone.

Looking good Quasimodo!!! ;-P

Alright....and here is the dreaded before and current.

What a transformation butter!

This is so exciting to see you go through this process. Also this journey is so personal and I thank you for sharing!

Butter!!! You look incredible!!! Wow...seriously, wow! The incision line is perfectly straight, too. I can only imagine how much better you must feel already. Thanks so much for sharing these pics!:)

You look fantastic! Dr I was stunned that we were connected in a way. I think that he was startled that there is discussion on message boards! He took out my last drain and is very happy. I turns out he took 4lb off of me plus the lipo.

That's great. Glad you got rid of the drains.

My follow up isn't for another week. How much output did you have to get to before he took out a drain. One of mine is already very low....like 20/day. But one is still around 180cc/ day. But it's nice and clear and hopefully will decrease with each day.

Both if my drains had less than 30cc by the end if the first week. He would only take out one though. You may get 2 out though. The drainage increases a bit when you get into a compression garment and out of the binder. The compression garment is no fun to get on and off. Be prepared for the first shower to be great but not easy. Make sure there is someone available to help.
