If your on soft food stage? It should be ok to try..

I would just try a tiny bite the first time and let it sit awhile to see how it makes you feel.

Well, three hours after dinner....meatballs must be ok. Tomorrow, I'm having some banana. And maybe a pickle. ...not at the same time. :)

Lol I'm glad your doing well. I've not had a pickle yet... Truthfully they are not my favorite :P

Make sure though those are allowed because the skin might be hard to digest so early out?

Im 2 weeks post op and i eat pickles, shredded chicken, bananas, pineapple, whole grain items....

But i dont eat the skin on the pickles lol

Wow, Jess! I think I was only on full liquids by week 2! No pickle for me today....just didn't feel like it. I had a chicken croquette....half for lunch, half for dinner. I have to snack to get all my protein in...I DID have half a banana today...that went very well!

Oh good! Idk....they said soft foods after my one week post op so I tried different stuff each day and then checked with my dietitian and approved. Im a hungry girl tho. I eat my protein and my shakes and snack so Im eating 6 very small meals a day 40-60g of protein at this time.

I use a veggie peeler on whole dill pickles and just eat the insides. My dogs love the peels.

I totally ate a pickle today...It was scrumptious! I chewed really well
