Because surgeon's have their favorite ways of doing things. I was on Optifast for two weeks, but on only clear liquids for the day before, and NPO after midnight of surgery day.

Mine 3 days

I have been on a liquid diet for a week, but no instructions to do clear liquids for 24 hours. Yep, all the docs have their own ideas about pre/post op diet. My surgery is tomorrow.

Hi sleeve buddy! I'm on thurs as well and on day 2 of my clear liquid only diet. Felt ok yesterday but feeling nauseous today. Good luck to you thurs!!!

Good luck to the rest of you this week are any of you scared or just excited?

I am not nervous right now-it's like my brain has decided to block it out like it's not real. Strange I know. Now wed night I'll probably be in full freakout mode lol. I'm not looking forward to being in the hospital either. I don't like relying on others to care for me. I'm afraid of being sick after surgery. And in pain. I'm sure we'll do great. I'm trying to keep a really positive attitude about the whole thing.
