For those of you who have a high sex drive, how long after surgery were you cleared to have sex, and how long until you felt good enough to really enjoy it?

The doctor told me 4 weeks. I'm on week 3. But I have absolutely no desire.

Waited a little over a week. The drive is gone but I think it could be just because I was more concerned about what type of pain it would cause during or after. My doctor suggested to wait minimum of 2 weeks and only if I felt comfortable (pain or discomfort). I had to lay on my side through it, but I was comfortable lol

My dr said 3 weeks. I am 2 weeks post op today. We waited 12 days. Haha!

I'm 2.5 weeks post op and got back in the swing of things ~ 10 days post op. For me a "spooning" type position seems to feel best with a still-sore belly!
