Have you froze a protein shake?

Recommended Posts

Just wondered if anyone has frozen a Protein Shake and ate it like ice cream? It seems like a reasonably good idea....doesn't it?

Never tried freezing my shake, but I do blend it with ice every morning. Here's my formula: 6 oz. Water, 12 oz. ice, and 2 scoops of Protein Powder, pulse blender until nice and smooth with no big chunks. I usually use a mix of one scoop chocolate Protein powder and one scoop espresso or mocha protein powder. Every now and then I'll throw in half a banana. Mmmmm, deelish!

Yes! I freeze them..buy only until they are like a slushie. It says not to freeze but my nut suggested it. Idk if you should but it is delish!

I wonder why they say not to freeze? I used to work at a nursing home and we would freeze ensure for the residents....so I thought it seemed logical.

Yes, I freeze them. I make chocolate shake pops in little paper cups and popsicle sticks. They are cheaper and better for you than the frozen popsicles at the store. There is no reason at all not to make them. None what so ever. Enjoy!

I freezed chocolate and it reminded me of eating a chocolate frosty. Very tasty.

Oh, that is a GREAT idea because I am getting tired of SF popsicles.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
