Day 8- feel worse not better!

Every day since surgery I've felt a little better. Today is my post-op visit to get my staples out and I am soo ready for that. But I have been having some god-awful pain in my lower back on the left side. Yesterday had to resort back to my pain meds it was so bad. This morning its still killing me, I am completely nauseous and generally feel like crap! So now I'm laying on the heating pad, sipping a vitamin water and hoping I can sleep a few more hours before I have to drag myself to my appointment. I feel like I've taken 3 steps backward. :(

I have no useful advice but just wanted to send you a virtual hug and hope that they can figure out why you are having that pain during your visit today.

Why do you have staples? Does everyone has to have staples

It depends on the doctor. Some use a super-strength glue. We didn't have staples.

I did not have staples. Ask your surgeon.

A darned good day to see the MD!!

And no staples for me either...
