I tried something spicy of course i ate it but i had a sore stomach afterwards. nothing terrible but I felt it. So try have a bite wait a while see what happens you may be ok.

I'm Indian, so I know from spicy food :). We started eating spicy on our Clear liquids. We'd mix spicy korean ramyun flavoring or taco seasoning or masala flavoring with our powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken broth . We routinely put cholula sauce in our Soups. My husband just made tortilla Soup with ancho chiles in adobo sauce.

Hasn't bothered us a bit.

I put Cajun seasoning in my Southwestern veggie soup.... no problem

Thanks Ladies!!! I was so upset thinking ill mwver be able to pour on the hot sauce! I havent tried yet of course since im two weeks in but id be so missing out when im back to a normal diet!

I'm a little over 3 months post-op, and had buffalo chicken for dinner last night, and leftovers for lunch today. I buy the sweet baby ray's buffalo sauce, coated the chicken in it, and baked it. No breading. I used blue cheese dressing made of ranch dressing mix, a bit of milk, and greek yogurt, then added some blue cheese crumbles to mine. I served it with tater tots, which I skipped. I had no problems, no indigestion, and no heartburn.
