Help Food is just not interesting!

Hi all,

I was sleeved on 3rd June. And in the last week food is just mot interesting or tasting nice anymore. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm still eating cause I have to but just don't look forward to eating. Any ideas I could try?

Cheers Bec

Hi Bec. I have found the same thing. I used to love eggs and now they taste different. I get really excited about what I'm going to eat, but it still doesn't taste as good as I know it should! I am looking at this as a positive though! Yay. food no longer has the same hold on me that it used to. I am just trying different things and seeing how it goes. I'm still on mushy food too, so will see what it's like when I move onto real food. Good luck

I have been looking at a website - emilybites.com. It is great and has lots of low fat recipes that I am going to try. Especially love the ones done in a muffin tin. Perfect size for us. Can't wait to try them!

Thank goodness it's just not me. Food just doesn't taste the same. I'm trying to see it as a positive but it's hard. I'm on normal foods and it's just a little hard lol. I have just had a wrap with chicken, cheese, mayo and lettuce. It tastes better than anything I've had lately.

We'll see how this next week goes

Yep, I take it as a positive, 'cause I don't have many cravings. I just 'eat to live'
