Hi, congratz on your upcoming surgery! It is normal to feel nervous before the surgery. Make sure that you are prepare for the full liquid diet by trying out different brands of Protein to find the one that you can tolerate. Also, expect some pain and swollen abdomen for the first week. Most importantly you need to follow your doctor's orders. You might not sleep much on your bed for the first week, but try a recliner or extra pillows on your back.

Good luck and keep us posted of your progress.

I am 8 days out and the best thing I can let you know about is to drink your fluids at room temperature so it doesn't cause spasms. I had them because I didn't know about it. Good luck and best wishes on your new journey.
