  1. It looks like no one has posted in here for a while, was just wondering how everyone is doing now.
  2. I had a leak that did finally heal after 8 long months. I feel your pain about wanting to drink something. I also had to have the TPN. I pray you heal quickly. Hang in there.

  4. I get a pain as well when I take a drink but for me I think it's cause I'm so thirsty that I take too big of a drink. At first it hurt really bad I found out that cold Water hurt worse than room temperature water, maybe that might help, just a thought. Sent from my iPad using VST
  5. I also have regrets at times, even though I am 16 days out, but it's just the emotional part of it for me, cuz eating was how I comforted myself so now I have to find some other way to do that instead of shoving my emotions down my throat. I had a crying spell last night, but I felt better afterwards. I believe it's just going to be a process for me, and I am so looking forward to an egg on the 27th. Hang in there it will get a little better everyday. Sent from my iPad using VST

  10. My fiancé took my two week ost op picks yesterday and I compared them to my pre op pics and your right it really is amazing the change that I saw. The weight loss for me I see in my face and neck as well as my legs, and rear end and hips. It's amazing what I couldn't see in the mirror I could see in the pics, now I know why they want you to take lots of them. It made me feel good. Sent from my iPad using VST

  12. You all have a much better sounding diet than mine. I just finished 2 weeks of clear liquids and started full liquids today with three protein shakes, I've had one earlier and now am trying really hard to get down the second but I feel so full, like it is up in my throat, yuck. 13. I am 10 days out and still on clear liquids. The only problems I've had are nausea and today I think I dumped after having a sf Popsicle. I want to eat real food so bad, but that isn't going to happen for awhile. I start regular liquids on the 13th for two weeks, and then I get to have puréed on the 27th. Right now it feels like it is so far away. I am still tired a lot too and am at the point where I'm wondering if I'm ever going to feel better. Sent from my iPad using VST
  14. I was sleeved on July 30th. I am still on clear liquids until the 13th. I have lost 7 lbs since surgery but I don't know if part of that is swelling or what. I'm just glad to be losing. Sent from my iPad using VST

  17. I am 8 days out and the best thing I can let you know about is to drink your fluids at room temperature so it doesn't cause spasms. I had them because I didn't know about it. Good luck and best wishes on your new journey. Sent from my iPad using VST
  18. I am only 8 days out but already I am off long acting insulin, and my sugar is running normal so that is an awesome blessing for me. Sent from my iPad using VST
  19. I'm not having the slimes, what is happening to me is I feel like there is liquid in my throat and it isn't going down, I feel bloated and so full I only got in 28oz of Fluid today, the Protein shakes are hard for me to get down right now. I don't know what to do I know that I need my protein in, I just don't know what to do, please help if you have anything that has worked for you.
  20. I put 8 oz. milk in blender, add ice to your liking add Protein powder and Splenda. Blend until liquified. The ice makes it like a shake I guess.
