Wow!!! You look amazing!!! Congrats!! I am coming up on 8 months out and am down around 80 lbs but I am struggling lately eating right and staying full. I would love to know what your average meal plan for the week is. I know my stall and up and down is because of what i am eating and i need a good plan of suggestions to get me jump started again!! :)

How did you post both of them?? Have them on line, but can't update. Thanks~

I have an app on my phone called frame its free. I went in and choose the frame that had two photos side by side then choose from my library the 2 photos. Saved it to my library then uploaded it using the vertical sleeve app that I also downloaded on my phone free. Im using an Iphone Hope this helps.

Wow!!! You look amazing!!! Congrats!! I am coming up on 8 months out and am down around 80 lbs but I am struggling lately eating right and staying full. I would love to know what your average meal plan for the week is. my daily goals are 800 calories a day,70 Protein,64 Water. So that gives me a deficit of 1,190 calories a day= 2.4 pounds lost a week. I never get all the Water and Protein in but I try my best . I also have been exercising for about a month now and try to go 3-5 days a week for 1 hour at the gym. I lost 90 pounds with no exercise. I firmly believe that food contributes to 60-75% of weight loss .So, with the exercise I lose about another 1 pound a week.I try to keep calories at 800. When I go above that I don't lose as much. Also eating high protein at every meal makes a big difference and has a great affect on how much I lose weekly. Stick to Greek yogurt, cottage cheese ,reduced fat cheese sticks, low fat milk, beef, turkey, chicken, shrimp, tuna fish, lentils,Beans , all fruits ,all vegetables and as little sweets and salty Snacks as possible. Use olive oil ,canola oil ,pam spray.I weight and measure almost everything I eat using a scale ,measuring spoons and cups. Something else to keep in mind is that every Body is different. Some lose slower than others. keep your eyes on the prize. It will come off eventually if you are following the rules. Congrats on the awesome loss! 80 pounds is equal to 320 sticks of butter :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
