My surgeons nurse called a little while ago to tell me what time to be at the hospital in the morning...6:30 a.m.!!! I was so excited when I told my husband and was talking so fast that he didn't understand me and asked "are you sure she didn't say 10:30"...soooo I had to call back just to make sure. It is officially 6:30 a.m. in the morning! YAY...I keep thinking to myself that I should really be nervous or SOMETHING but I'm not yet. I bet I will be in the morning though! :D :D :D

Just got home from hospital. .. I am really thirst and tired :(

Congrats on making it through your surgery! Thanks for sharing your experience' date=' it really helps.

I started my pre op diet today - 3 - 4 protein shakes per day, and non starchy veggies. I am a little hungry, but I keep telling myself "I will NOT starve to death, an there are lots of people who live everyday on less than I'm eating. And it is only for 2 weeks.[/quote']

I'm on the same diet, when and where are you scheduled for, I'm sept 16th in philly

Congrats on the successful surgery. It's great that we can all support one another thru this journey. What protein shakes does everyone like the best

I use abouttime its lactose free and I add a sugar free fruit punch packet to it

Hi, I will be sleeved on September 18th. I am really excited and scared and every other emotion that goes with it. My surgery is less than two weeks from my initial appointment with the doctor on September 5th. I really have to move fast to fill all the requirements. Night of initial appointment had to start 2 week diet. A few days later went for gallbladder tests and upper GI test, Thursday go for pre-op class and register at hospital with more bloodwork. Then the following Wednesday morning is surgery. I am from a small town in Louisiana
