Im September 16th....I havent been in hospital for 22 years to the date and that was for the birth of my twin boys who were born 09/16/91.

This surgery will also be a life changing experience for me!!

You and i will be at the marriott at the same time.. i arrive at the marriott on the 10th and have surgery at mi doctor and then back in the marriott for recover from 13-15th..

I'm September 9th with dr. Kelly in TJ. But I just had to comment because I lived in Fort McMurray for 5 years! Bet you'll never guess where I'm from . Lol. Best of luck to you!

Day 4 of liquids. Experiencing swollen legs, leg cramps and diarrhea. Any of you had same thing?

I am getting in all my water and protein, 1C broth, and all post-op required vitamins... Not sure why this would lead to leg cramps!

How is the pre-op diet going for everyone? I find it challenging at night, but otherwise I'm good.

I'm also getting nervous! I think it really hit me that I'll be removing my stomach permanently. I'm still on board of course, just a bit in shock.
