Im September 16th....I havent been in hospital for 22 years to the date and that was for the birth of my twin boys who were born 09/16/91.

This surgery will also be a life changing experience for me!!

Not only are we having our surgery on the same day' date=' we both get to do a 3 week liquid diet instead of the 2 week liquid diet!!! I guess I shouldn't be upset because I have lost almost 10 pounds in 7 days and that is the reason that we're all here...should be interesting to see how much I loose before surgery day!!![/quote']

I weighed myself today and have lost 12 pounds in 8 days!!! Only 1 pound to go before i am under 300. Woot!

Well' date=' one week down on my 2 week liquid diet and my surgeon's nurse calls this morning to tell me that my surgery is going to have to be moved from the 4th to the 11th...not real happy at the moment!!! Not only did I think that a strange way to spend a honeymoon, but I wanted to inquire as to what substance you were on to be so calm in the face of your wedding and life altering surgery! :-)

Im just so excited and reading this forum so much. I wrote a list of things I want at hospital and what I think I should have readily available when I get home.

And just screaming out of excitement sometimes when I'm alone in my car. .

I'm the 12th as well. I have to do 7 days liquid diet. I'm not looking forward to the shakes. Good luck!

Can anyone recommend a liquid brand of glucosamine chondroitin MSM? I take Osteo Bi-flex brand in pill form now for joint pain, but they do not appear to make the formula in liquid form. I take two a day, and they are big horse pills, which will be a problem swallowing after surgery.
