Good for you JellyBean!

Protein shots? Has anyone tried them? Well I brought some from amazon. They are 26grams in 2.9oz. The taste is not too bad. It has no carbs, no sugars, no fat and 120 calories. Since I brought them im able to get all my protein in daily. Tomorrow I start pureed foods, which gives me a different variety to get protein in that way. Hope all is well sleevers and enjoy the rest of the day!

One week out went back to work got on the scale (since I had a doctors apt anyways) and have lost 9lbs I was completely shocked and so excited made it under 300 now thats I've knocked that 3 down time to work on knocking that 2 off! 22lbs down total now feeling great so glad I did this.

Congrats! I wish I was feeling that great.

I tried one from Walmart. It's not all whey protein, but still enough to be good. My Dietician looked at it for me. She said it looked good, but there were two kinds of protein. She said to ensure it has the best form of protein, whey.

I did see those also, I'm going to try them this weekend. Thanks for that info. I did look at mine and it contains whey.

I tried some from Walmart too. My favorite is the watermelon flavor.

I liked them before the surgery and cannot force myself to drink them now. They have turned on me and I get instant diarrhea that will last for a good two hours. All my fluid intake heads right out the back door! Leaving me in a negative. I'm not even sure the protein stayed in my system of if it hightailed too.

Oh I'm glad you posted this! I haven't tried them post Op. My tummy is so sensitive. Plus I'm not a fan of vomiting. I feel like I'm the only one on here that isn't jumping for joy. My tummy still aches after 10 days. My doc says it's the nerves, but I'm so sick of taking the medicine they gave me. It puts me into a deep slumber. Although I do like that, but I feel like my life is slipping away.

I was nauseous until I hit three weeks out from surgery. Keep taking your meds, and all of a sudden you will feel better one day.
