I'm getting along much better these days with both my mirror and camera! We've had a more off than on relationship, which is steadily improving. Oh, and I haven't made the scale cry, groan or whimper in months!! Lol!

For me the most wonderful thing is that I now have a sense of being in control!

  • 4 weeks later...

being able to have a bathtowel wrap around my body.

being able to paint my own toenails.

being able to rollover in bed effortlessly.

taking pride in myself.

I had a baby 9 months ago and I'm back to my weight I was before lost 150lbs and have kept it off..so having a baby (healthy beautiful girl) clothes shopping no more stares from people. Still have great restriction.enjoying life 3yrs post up

1. Improved mobility - which was my # 1 goal with wls 2. I am off blood pressure med, Water pills, and anti-depressants now

Good for you!!! I couldn't agree with you more about #1 reason being mobility. We get one chance at this thing called life. I want to be able to take it by storm, hiking, running and smiling the whole way through! (Just need my knees to cooperate...lol)

Congratulations again!!!!

I am already off my metformin for diabetes and my last blood work was really good. So excited to be off the meds and no longer progressing towards needing insulin shots! :)

I am only 6 days post op, I went into the hospital on four blood pressure meds, I'm now down to only taking one and my bp is still a little on the low side. My husband reported to me this morning that I didn't snore last night, now that is exciting! I can't wait to see the continuous benefits!

Wearing a size 10 skinny pants and feeling just as good! Yay

I use to wear a size 24 elastic waist.

Ditto to all above... one thing I wasn't expecting is that my 11 year old son gets so excited to go on walks with me. If I'm not up to it he gets all sad and mopey and that gets my but walking really fast. Im looking forward to continuing a healthy life with my children. It's all I've ever wanted :)
