From my recent trip to TJ, I wanted to warn woman of the danger that lurks there. No, it's not gangs or drug cartels or murderers ... It's handsome young drs who can sense your vulnerability and low self esteem from a mile away. I'm not sure if the rules are different in Mexico or sleeping with patients is just "frowned upon" but either way after the excitement wears off for him, instead of feeling happy & confident in your smaller body, you're left feeling used and foolish. I'm not saying dont let them in your hotel room to check your wounds and remove your staples, but just know when they stay till 1am they know where the back stairs are to sneak out so the hotel staff dont become suspicious ... Not going to name names, but I'm curios if anyone else has had the same aftercare experience as me .. Adios

Please tell me how she isn't at fault when she slept with him 4 days after meeting him.....she is a grown woman and knew what she was doing. She is upset it didn't turn into a relationship like she wanted and in turn could have completely screwed this mans career. Ya, he shouldn't be a douchebag sleeping with different women while in a relationship but that doesn't mean he should potentially lose his job because neither of them could keep it on their pants. Latin people are generally more flirty than Americans. Just because someone is flirty doesn't mean they are a womanizer. She was the one that allowed it to go farther than it should have. Acting like it was sexual harassment is ridiculous. Should he have known better than to take it further with a current patient? Ya. Should she have not slept with some random guy she didn't know? Yup. None of us have seen the correspondence between them and don't really know who pursued who. They are both at fault. Just because he can't keep his junk in his pants doesn't mean he is a bad dr (everything I've read about him states otherwise) he is just a bad person personally. It's none of anyone's business what he does in his personal life as long as he isn't raping women and forcing them into things that they arent choosing to do.

Not talking about any " flirty Latin" he was her attending Physician entering her hotel room.. Alone, and preying on whomever takes his bait. It's the perfect meat shop for the WOMANIZER.

I considered Dr Garcia an excellent Dr, but if he condones this behavior then I've changed my mind. Simple deduction.

Now that Dr. Garcia himself is looking into it I hope we can let this go.

I also hope, regardless of the outcome and regardless which version is true, that Blindsided speak with a counselor to help her cope with what has obviously been an overwhelmingly emotional experience.

I've read every post of this thread..this "novella" is a shame on all fronts. This thread is a serious turn off. This is the first and only forum I have joined hoping to find information support and even some fun. Unfortunately there are a handful of drama queens, attention seekers, and control freaks that are all over this site 24/7 pontificating their absolute judgements. It's disgusting..disheartening and negative. Unsubscribing. Good luck to those who have helped me immensely. I will be looking to other sites for support.

And I am standing by the doctor and the rest of his team on this one. Hasn't changed my opinion one bit. I had surgery there, loved the care, and found the whole team to be caring professionals.

I wanted to update... Dr. Garcia has finished his investigation of these issues and is no longer using "dr" Luna.

Guess I won't be meeting him next month. Hope he is replaced by someone attentive and caring who will keep his hands to himself.

I might add I admire Dr. Garcia in his professionalism and putting the patients first.
