Hair loss post op vs. after childbirth? More, less, same?

I keep seeing threads on hair loss and I know it is to be expected. Just curious how it compared to hair loss after having a baby.

Thx!!

Definitely more than after childbirth.

Idn I never lost any after having my child. Out too soon to tell here.

After my first son, I lost a ton of hair. I have super thick hair and it thinned a lot!

After my second child I had the sleeve two months later so I thought I was doomed! But with the Vitamins and Protein overload, my hair is growing just as fast as it's falling out. So, yes it's falling out but not thinning. Now I just had my gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago and I hope my hair stays thick!

I was worried but I actually like my hair more at the moment. I have ALOT of thick hair and it helped thin it some. After my kids my hair almost changed textures. I would say, for me, it was a similar hair loss though. My loss seemed to come on earlier than what most people report here. I'm ten weeks tomorrow and I've already lost a ton of hair and I get my daily protein in, almost 80g a day and take my vitamins.
