Pls let us kno how that works I have unjury unflavored and whatever liquids I mix it with I put in my daughters sippy cup and sip from that. It helps not to be able to smell it because it makes me want ti gag :-/ sry...I read that idea and im open to any others that may help me get Protein in...im still having a difficult time. I tried yogurt today for the first time thinking id just get my protein from food..that cant work I was full after a 3 or 4 baby spoon fulls...

I drink the Isopure ready made, but I add Mio drops to give it more flavor. Usually do to peach mango and add a mixed berry flavoring... taste like apple juice

Thanks for passing on the sippy cup tip. I hadn't read that before but the smell of the Protein Powder I have tried is definitely the biggest turn off. Maybe I will get a travel coffee cup to use for it. But thereare plenty of sippy cups around the house to use in the meantime!

I had my one week post-op appt today. I was on Clear Liquids only for the week after discharge. My recovery has gone well, except for a bad cough for 2 days (cold or allergies - was able to take robitussin). I am happy so far! Not having trouble getting my liquids in. Had one Protein Shake, 4 oz at a time, no prob. No prob with milk. I am slightly worried that stuff goes down pretty easy. Wish I felt the restriction a little more. Daily, I am trying to face just how much of this is really up to me. Reading the comments on this forum helps me face that.

And I am released to return to Water aerobics next week!

My July 22 sleevers...2 more days!!!! What have u done so far to prepare? I have purchased, Soups, liquids (water, crystal light, Gatorade, smoothie/protein shake ingredients), bandages, etc. I'm really trying to prepare as much as possible. I took the gel power off of my nails, and got clear polish on my hands and feet. Today I clean up whatever is left and do my hair. tomorrow I drink that seemingly awful citrate of magnesia. Surgery is at 10 am for me.

Got my pantry and fridge stocked up, and did most of the cleaning yesterday. I'll finish cleaning today and pack my bag.

Tomorrow I will be with my Corvette club at an event so that will occupy my mind and chill me out.

Started Protein Shakes on Thursday. Already growing tired of them LOL. I liked them a whole lot better during preop, when I was allowed some food too! Well, this too shall pass, I suppose.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
