I am 11 days out and I have no problem with getting in liquids or Protein, but I have no energy and I am exhausted. Went to the grocery store yesterday and felt like I had run a marathon. I am not that active usually, but this feels like all my muscles have given up. Any advice? Anyone feel the same?

You just had a fairly major surgery. It takes time to bounce back. Give yourself a break and stay the course. Get your Vitamins, Proteins and Water in like you are doing. Try to stay as active as you can. It will come, it just may not be next week, but it will happen. Hang in there.

Do what you can, as you can. I am a different mutant, I was sleeved on a Tuesday and was back at the gym on the following Monday. Mostly just walked on the treadmill, but it felt good to get active.

Omgosh i felt the same way!! I didn't understand why, because I had never been so exhausted after walking the grocery store. Turns out it was just post-op recovering. I am now 19 days post-op and I am going to the gym. I still feel like sh*t when I get back from the gym, but it's because in pushing myself. It will get better! I am happy someone posted on this. When I had this problem I thought my Iron was low.

Absolutely! I was so worried for awhile. Just take it easy for now! It's much better when you start actually eating.

Oh also, I forgot to mention, I went back to the gym yesterday. But as soon as you feel up to it. I was walking grocery stores, malls, neighborhood, etc. prior to going to the gym.

That's definitely where I'll start. I can just see me walking from the parking lot to the locker room of the gym, then turning around and walking out because I was "done".

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
