My first taste change experience! WOOOT WOOOOT!

Totally weird! My daughter left a Dove dark chocolate bar in my handbag yesterday and I decided to break off the smallest corner of it and let it dissolve on my tongue. (Before anyone judges me, the amount I broke off was about the size of a black peppercorn.)

I have always loved Dove dark chocolate -- it's one of my favorite things. I am not a huge sweet eater, but when I do want something sweet, I want something small and rich. The Dove promises are perfect and have always been a go-to dessert.

It tasted like I had just licked the bottom of an ashtray.

That excites me so much! I hope it lasts.

It is the worst though when EVERYTHING tastes too sweet ...crystal light, zero calorie gatorade, any kind of flavored water, any flavored protein drink...it sucks

My tastebuds/smell changed for a couple of months. Everything smelled and everything tasted awful! Good luck :)

Dark chocolate has always tasted like an ashtray to me! hehe

Lord, please let this happen to me with sausage, egg, and cheese bisquits!

Darn, I wish I could relate. I still love chocolate.

I was sleeved on June 3rd. And tried drinking some broth today. It was so salty. And my isopure which I didn't like prior to surgery tastes much better! I can already feel changes and I'm loving it. I hope it lasts!
