So the nerves are hitting me now

Surgery is tomorrow at 1 and the nerves are finally hitting me..I just threw up and I can't stop crying because I'm scared. I know I am doing the right thing I am just scared of the risk of complication. I know that sounds silly but it does happen...I just need words of encouragement.

Heading home 24 hours after going into recovery room. Had to drink an ounce of Water per hour since noon. Very easy recovery so far.

Glad you get to go home :)

My surgery is scheduled for May 30th. I am scared but realistically the surgery is very safe. I would like to hear how yours went and wish you the best of luck.

We are sleeve sisters! Where r u from?

I live in Peoria, Ilinois...I am home now and very sore...No one explained the pain or I should say the pulling feeling that I am feeling when I walk...but I would say doin well...How are you feeling tonight?

Congratulations on a successful surgery! I hope your recovery is speedy and smooth, too!

Do something to get your mind off it. You have made a life changing decision and I totally applaud you. Hang in there. Can't wait for you to join us on the Big Loser's Bench. :P

Sorry I didn't read all the posts. Congrats on a job well done!

I am very happy that is over with...and I am doing my best to get through the pain....the meds are making me real tired...and everything fuzzy...hopeing to not need it tomorrow...got to wait and see.

My surgery was last Friday and I was just as freaked out as you. I think I would have run had they given me another 5 minutes. I was nauseous in the hospital and had to stay an extra day, and asking why I did this to myself??? But have not taken pain meds since coming home and things have been going upward ever since.

Everything is coming and going as it is supposed to and I feel great.

If you have done your homework and have confidence in your doctor, everything else will fall into line. Stay strong!!

Thanks everyone! I am now on day 3 post op and feeling a LOT better than yesterday. I already have a NSV: I slept on the couch instead of the recliner! Tonight I will try sleeping in our bed. I did take pain meds since coming home but for me it is to curb the gas pains and help me sleep.
