I am headed to Eagle Pass, TX in July and then on to see Dr. Alvarez in Mexico for my sleeve surgery!! I have researched several Dr's for over a year before making my decision to go with Dr. Alvarez, however he was my first choice!! Would love to hear from anyone that has been to the same Dr. I am looking to loose over 150 lbs! I'm 5' 8" tall and 340 lbs! I'm so ready to begin my wonderful new journey.

Yes I think we did meet. I went with my sister who had it done the same day as me. We are both so happy! I've lost 55 lbs and my sister hit 100 lbs lost since she started. Its has been such a great ride. Enjoying most everyday of it!

I am back in San Antonio and can say that my experience with Dr. Alvarez was fantastic. Everyone is so caring and eager to help you be successful. After I get home I will write up my story. I would recommend them 1000%.

I was sleeved in Dec by Dr Alvarez. He and his entire staff are fantastic. You will be in great hands.

I wouldn't trade my experience with Dr. Alvarez for the world. It's not just him either, all the docs, nurses, patient coordinators are amazing. They made my husband and I feel at home and went above and beyond to answer questions, make me comfortable and informed. I honestly was only in pain when they put the IV in (I have rolling veins) and never was uncomfortable with sickness; but they were ready to assist if I did.

They are world class and I am thankful that I found them. I feel like I have ALL the tools and support to suceed thanks to them.

My Surgery with Dr. Alvarez is scheduled for this Saturday ! Lord, the time just flew by. I'm excited and can't wait. I've heard so many good things about him and the staff that I really feel everything is going to go perfectly but there's still that thought in the back of your head related to all those ladies talking about how they couldn't swallow and had really bad gas and heartburn the day after surgerly. Lord, I hope I follow in the footsteps of the less hurtful ones.

I'm having surgery with Dr. Alvarez on June 29th! So excited!! 3 weeks from Friday and I will be on my way to a better me :)
