Congrats' date=' i have to say my stitch is the bane of my existence. It is e excruciating and getting worse daily. How many days out were you? Someone told me yesterday that Dr Nicholson said it might take 6 weeks. I cried![/quote']

Mine popped on day 17 but I'm still a little sore and it's a little over 5 weeks.

I go to Dr. Nicholson's Plano office on 8/1 too for my 6 weeks check-up. I agree with everyone that the 2 week check-up was a waste of my time and gas money. I am writing down my questions as I think of them where I will be prepared to get every one of them answered before I leave. I also have that horrible pain in my left side but it was gone away. I never felt my stitch pop but I am assuming it did. I did fall of the porch about 2 weeks ago and fell hard on my right shoulder and hip and although I feel fine it really worries me that I did something to hurt my stitches or my stomach. My whole body was so sore from the fall for about a week and half and I had a huge bruise and knot in my shoulder. Probably needless' date=' stupid worry but......[/quote']

I got 8/1 too!!

New Mommy, I saw your post above. I think our surgeries were 1 day apart. Mine was on the 18th. Are you going to the Plano office on 8/1?

Hey! Nice to meet ya' date=' maybe we passed each other in the halls. Idk about you, but I am SO ready to eat food Monday! Really really tired of liquids.[/quote']

Amen to that. I went shipping for stuff this Tuesday. I've never looked forward to applesauce or some lunch meat in my life. I was ok the first two weeks but this last one has been more of a struggle.

Hey all, since we all used Dr. Nick I assume we are local. I have a can of Unjury chicken broth and a can of strawberry Protein Powder. Each I have used maybe two or 3 times and just didn't like them. I still use the chocolate and love it. The chicken broth is not bad but I really don't like barely luke warm and it can't be heated past 140 degrees.

If anyone would like them, let me know we can meet some place if you like. I hate wasting and I know I will never use them.

Free to good home. :)

Good luck! I hope they get you in. My dad was told they were already getting booked for August 20th and so it would have to be after.

NewMommy, did your dad get his date?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
