I was sleeved April 26th but the second I started my period, I stalled. I'm wondering if there is a connection?? Maybe retaining Water or something?? I also had Mirena put in March 10th so I know that spotting and what not are normal for the first 3-6 months, but this is an actual period and I've stopped losing weight for the last few days. Anybody have similarities or know anything about this??

Thank you so much for replying to my question. I was really starting to wonder if I was the only one. I'm so crampy and blah feeling, I've been reading other period posts and it sounds like my carb cravings are pretty normal too. I haven't been hungry at all until 3 days ago when I started. Blah!! This sucks!!

Nope, Because a stall is a month with no movement of inches or Lbs,

So a stall has to be a month long?? Is that what the doctors say?? I've never heard that before, but I'm pretty new so, who knows!! I certainly didn't :-)

I have never heard that, lots of people complain about stalls a week, two etc.

Been here awhile and never heard the month thing before. Anyways, I always gain a lb or two before I start...I crave carbs also. But, the few days following I lose a few extra too...it's just Water weight.

I have had numerous stalls and none have lasted more then a week. And I always show extra on the scale with my periods post op. I think it seems to be a common thing from what I've seen on here and obesity help.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
