Well unlike some posters I really havent lost my hunger. If I don't eat about every 3 hours my stomach starts getting growly. Today I had:

Breakfast- lite and fit greek yogurt, 10 raw almonds

Lunch-half a turkey sausage pizza made on flat out wrap and about a third cup of cottage cheese (over an hour & a half)

Snack-Premier Protein Shake

Dinner-?? I'll prob be pretty hungry after going to play tennis.

I'm usually around 800-900 calories, 60+ Protein and less than 40 carbs.

Starting Weight: 270, Surgery Weight: 251, Two-Week Post-op Weight: 241, Four-Week Post-op Weight: 235, Eight-Week Post-op: 231

Lynda, you mentioned V8 juice one day. Did you drink that with your meal? If so, was it ok? I like v8 and milk but havent figured out how to fit them into my food plan.

Sooty I am not! Thanks for the compliment. I will try to post here more often. I think it is good for vets at goal to post so we can see what people eat in maintenance.

I drink the V8 first then eat the other items. If it is a small meal I do sometimes drink the v8 while eating now that my capacity is bigger.

I still can't drink and eat bcuz it hurts. I'm almost 7 months out. I luv v8 but now I get awful heartburn with even a sip so I juice once a day to get my veggie and fruit serving. I sub a snack or meal with a juice.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
