Happy Mother's Day to all the brave sleever moms!

This is the best thing I could have ever done for myself, my kids and my husband. My 8 yo daughter wrote me a poem that said she was proud of me for being a "dare devil"

for doing my surgery. Lol, so sweet. Happy Moms Day to all the other brave Sleever moms out there! And even if you are not a mom, you are still brave superstar Sleever in my book. Enjoy this beautiful day!

Yep, truly the best thing I have ever done for myself health-wise!

That is cute that she called you a "dare devil"...my girls were 8 and 10 when I was sleeved in 2010. Now they are almost 11 and 12 and the other day my youngest called me the "Protein monster" haha.(guess maybe I harp on the protein a bit much...) I like "dare devil" better. :)

Happy Mother's Day ladies. Wishing all of you a wonderful day:)

Happy Moms Day to brave Sleever moms

mamamareli

back at ya et al :)

little vent ok????

while i was growing up my mom always "commented" on my weight

my 4 siblings were either thin or average size, so what happened to me???

she was never very tactful about my weight "situation"

mom lives in another state - she didn't see me through my weight loss process

she saw me after i reached goal - looked at me and smiled and told me i looked "good"

she made that comment about 2 more times that day - no more

since then, she has never mentioned the accomplishment of losing 105 lbs or that i look good or nice :(

whereas before - she always "mentioned" me being overweight!!!

i guess certain memories stay in your head, whether you are 9 or 59!!!!

my mom is now 83, and i do love her

happy moms day to you all, my mom, and me and my daughter too - who has made me the "proudgrammy" 3X's over!!!

by the way Janice - doggies do count for mothers' day ;)
