Any body in the New Orleans area? I would love to have someone in my area going through the same thing. I would like to know how you are dealing with life in the city of NO. I am so tired of people trying to feed me. I can't eat it' date=' but thanks. The food smells so good but I do not want any of it. It is a hard adjustment to not eat at gatherings. That was the one think good about life here. Food. I feel like I almost have a food aversion. Nothing really taste good. So sick of bland foods. I did enjoy my red Beans yesterday. Hello my surgery is scheduled for June 25th

I visit my surgeon on friday and told him I was worried because I have not lots alot of weight on the pre surgery diet :-( he said it was ok.

I am so excited to start my new live but also am a bit scared. My family doesn't know about my surgery. Im driving myself to the hospital :-(

I just ate some Popeye's red beans on my puree diet. My son and his wife lived off that when on puree diet. Yum

Because it's to help shrink the liver and I should only be eating "good"carbs....if that makes sense?

I finally had my first solid today after surgery on the 11th. Up til then they were few and far between and not solid.

I haven't had a solid yet. I was the same day as you. Are you still on liquids only?
