Don't know if any of you are still around, but hoping to connect with fellow sleevers here in NC. I'm in Winston-Salem and will be having my surgery on October 7th at Frye Regional with Dr. Hata.

I used to live in Winston-Salem! I'm in Durham now and I'll be sleeved on the 14th of October!

Cool! It will be good to keep in touch.

I'm in Wilmington. Anyone else have surgery at NHRMC? Dr.Hooks will be my surgeon.

The ones in Charlotte what area do you leave in

I'm north of Raleigh. Dr. Tyner is my surgeon, and surgery is scheduled for Saturday Sept. 27.

I live in kannapolis and work in concord. Sleeved 2-18-14

I'm trying to decide on a surgeon from Duke. Can anyone give me suggestions? You can email me if you'd like. I'm leaning toads the gastric sleeve but of course would need to consider what the surgeon thinks is best. I'm from pretty far out of town so I don't know anyone in the area or anyone who has had bariatric surgery there. Thanks!

I was sleeved by Dr. Portenier from Duke Metabolic Weight Loss Center. Was SO impressed by him and everyone in their office. I researched them well prior to going with them and their results were good with low complication rate.
