November 2012 sleevers

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved Nov 14th. My total start weight was 292lbs. I've gotten done 197lbs. Then I keep fluctuating back up to 200 or 201. This has been going on for 2-3 wks. It's frustrating. I have started working out. But I worry I'm not going to lose anymore.

Well I've been stuck at the same weight for so long I've lost count! Welcome to the sixth month people :(

Some days I am at a place of peace with my weight loss so far, some days (like today) I am not!

I was sleeved 11/12 I've lost 61 lbs so far I feel great. I've never been this comfortable in my own skin. I have about 20lbs to go! I've recently found out I had gallstones I will be having surgery next week. Good job everyone!!!

Did you take meds to prevent this? I recently finished a bottle of meds to prevent gallstones and I have been pretty sporadic in taking this. I was just wondering if this is something I should worry about?

You should read the forum about doubling the Water and Protein. I was in a 2 month stall and tried it and it worked!

I wanted to update:

Surgery date: 11/7

Surgery day: 230 lbs

This morning:141.2 lbs

I am 5"6' and my initial goal first was 150, then it became 145 because it was the best for me. I had a Tummy Tuck when i was 143 lbs 3 weeks ago and i gained up to 7 pounds Water weight. Now am back down to 141 3 weeks after the surgery and my goal changed to 135... I think i am addicted to seeing the scale move am still not ready to transition to maintenance. My question is: is 135lbs a far fetch and too much for me? :(

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
