May 29th here!!!

Ok everyone here's the scoop... Im new to this and just found this website. I did download the app to my phone. Im having my surgery may 29th and would like to find a few friends who are having it done around the same time also. And a few who have already had it done so I know what to expect. Everyone have a wonderful day and happy new life/ new body journey!!!

Surgery went well on the 14th. I'm home now working on getting in fluids, walking and resting. The only part of the experience I didn't like was having to be stuck 6 times to get an IV the second day. Other than that, it was ok. I only took pain meds once. All I have now is a little gas that gets better each day. So far so good.

I imagine all those feelings are normal. I will have the exact same feelings in a month. Shoot' date=' I have them now! U will be fine!! Best of luck :)[/quote']

Thank you so much for the encouragement! You'll be fine too. Best of luck to you as well. Keep me posted and I'll do the same.

I can't believe my surgery is only one week away' date=' May 24th. It seems like I've been planning this forever. I'm starting to get really nervous now!!! I know this is what I want but I'm still a little scared.[/quote']

My surgery date is May 24th too! I can't wait!

Where are you having yours done?

Florida Hospital Celebration with Dr. Keith Kim. You?

I'm having mine with Dr Ismael Garcia in TJ, Mexico. I wish you the best of luck! Let me know how it goes.

I'm a newbie to this forum. Having my surgery Thurs. May 23, and super excited!!! Has anyone had the surgery and been on Bioidentical horomones??

I was sleeved May 7th and haven't had any issues. I was kept 1 extra day in the hospital because of not peeing (seriously). I did eventually pee and was released.

I'm on clears for 2 weeks which seems like a lot to me but I have medication I take mixed into some yogurt. I have my 1st follow up appointment with my surgeon and NUT on Monday.

Overall I'm feeling really good and I can't wait to eat something solid but I guess I have awhile to wait for that.

Oh yes I remember not being able to pee even when you wanted to. I pee same day but I was seeting in the bathroom for a while and I let the water run and that actually help me. By the way I was sleeve on may 6 and I do want too eat some solids for example yesterday I made scramble eggs for my daughter and ohhhh god I felt the temtation to eat some and I did, and it hurt like crazy so I stop I only try I bite but thay was more than enought for me. I will continue to follow my diet. I am in full luquids as well.

I had my sleeve on May 14 and a small hernia repair to my esphoguas. . I was really tired the first day The second day my gas was unbearable, I find it hard to get on the liquids down in the time fr ame given. . I'm hoping it gets better soon everything I drink I feel it moving around very uncomfortable. .
