I am considering Dr. Kirshenbaum in Aurora, CO (www.lapbandrockies.com) I know that there are a few of you in LBT that went to him. I am interested in knowing your thoughts on him and if you have had any complications. I am just a little leary since the price is so low, there is little on the internet about him, and I will be traveling from WI to have this done. Any information you could provide would be much apppreciated...

Sometimes I wonder if its worth taking vacation - I have up to my ears in alligators since my return. I'd love to join you all on the "gambling junket" in November, if there's room in the car.

I'm going to try and attached two photos. One is from July of 2008 and the other is from July 2009. Hopefully, you all can see a difference...I'm down 50 pounds between the two.

I may not be here in Denver! I found out there is a class in MN, I have to attend! I'm trying to find a different session! MN in November is not my idea of fun! I'm going to be working on it! It just came up this morning!

I stupidly volunteered to work extra! 4 - 12 hour nights in a row! I'm an idiot! Mini is in the road! and I am waiting to hear from Patty about her new test results!

I am jumping on your bandwagon, if there is room (?)....My surgery with Dr. Brown in Denver is set for Sept 1st., and so I am a total newbie hoping to learn from you all.

New as I am, I got to have lunch with KayleighsMommy yesterday after my first meeting with Dr. B! I am so grateful for her efforts to reach out and help me! Thank you KayleighsMommy! How cool to meet IRL. She told me a little bit about you all and the Red Robin meetings - I look forward to meeting you some day when I return to Denver for one of my fills.

I have some late night work I'm doing. Funny thing, since I got out of the hospital hubby NEVER complains anymore about my nocturnal habits, lights on..tv on..he can't sleep..., he seems grateful just to have me here. Nice feeling.

I am so game for RR but I'll have to hold you all in my heart as school starts on Thursday for me. I miss you all so much my banditos.

Theresa you are funny..getting us to all lose ten lbs for the gambling trip..ha. Now there's a girl who is dedicated to gambling.

I was thinking how nice it would be to invite Dr. K to one of our gatherings waaaaaaaaay in advance of the actual gathering so we could plan a time that is good for him. I owe so much to that man I can't begin to describe it.

We also should do a cruise together. There has to be more of us out there that can piggy back together and do some lovely cruise someplace.

Patty, besides gambling, I also love cruises. Especially cruises with casinos on board.

I started back to school last week! The summers keep getting shorter. Don't you hate the first few days of school? Teachers talk the entire time and my shoulder kills me until about week three.

I am down 2 pounds this week. Yayyyyy... I finally hit my 75 pounds loss. That was one nasty 21 pounds... it took me 10 months to lose it :thumbup:

I have been doing really well these last few weeks, I know it can't last forever, but I'll take the losses where I can get em. :wub:
