Dr. Gerald Kirshenbaum - Considering Dr. Kirshenbaum

I wouldn't call being a "bitchy diva" a good thing... that should show you what kind of character you really are... I feel sorry for you... I'm not sure why I want to even justify myself, but my doc did in fact prescribe anti-nausea meds even before surgery... I had them, but it wasn't enough, so I had to call him... maybe you should get your WHOLE story straight instead of forming nasty little thoughts before you know what you thinking... And as far as never replying to your previous posts... why would I? What is the point? Even when I tried to "defend" myself with telling you to try calling him, you yourself said "why would you care enough to do it". So why would I care enough to waste my time on you... this is the last time I will be wasting on you... you are a poison... All you are is completely negative! Isn't there enough crap in the world? What is the point now? You are so narrow minded and rude that you have formed your own nasty opinions that are totally and utterly stupid. I have received emails from other users on this site that think you are a complete and utterly horrible person... they can't figure out why you are so "snobby" and that you are "vultures"... that should tell you a little something "sweetie". Like I said before, Grow up. Or maybe you are still in middle school...? Something bad must have happend to you and like I said. I feel very sorry for you and I hope that your life becomes a little bit more happier b/c obviously you have had problems to make you so negative towards complete strangers! wow...good luck with your life!

At the risk of continuing this ugliness, I am going to respond. I have no intention of starting a war of words, however, I must say that I have known Munchkin since she was banded. I met her in person and she is not snobish at all. She has never been rude to anyone on this site.

That's all I have to say to you. Good luck with your journey to good health and happiness.

p.s. I responded the last time you posted here, in a very nice manner and you had nothing more to say. I would appreciate it greatly if this would be the case - this time, also.

thank you.

Really, you don't need to feel sorry for me. Just go away and get out of our thread and move on!! That's all! You are the one that started this! And as for other people emailing you and thinking I am horrible...since I don't talk to anyone else on this site but these ladies, who I am pretty sure did not email you, I really don't know who that would be. And I am pretty sure that I don't care!

YAY for moving tickers!!!!

I have one week left of this Last Supper Syndrome, and then I start my self-imposed 30-day pre-op diet. Not only am I going low-carb, but I'm quitting sodas and beer! Sheesh, I deserve a medal for this.

Thank you Dee! Since apparently she feels she knows me oh so well....

And the only time I have ever been rude to anyone on this site is her...so that pretty much tells the story right there!

Enjoy your last week, drink some soda and beer, and make sure you find some B&J pumpkin cheesecake ice cream and eat some for me!

Oh please drink some Diet Pepsi, Diet Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke and Diet Rootbeer for me! I miss those guys!

You're a brave soul! I can't say I did the same... true!

Listen Chickie, don't forget to take those before pics before you start your pre-op -- and remember to do all of your measurements. I measured everything. It helps when the scale isn't moving or you look in the mirror and it looks like nothing has changed.

Be safe and enjoy!

LOL I drink soda on a daily basis, mostly at work. That's where my soda problem lies. At night, if there's beer in the house I'll drink it. Luckily I'm not drinking my beer at work - that would be a no no, haha. I am confident I can kick the two, it might just take a few weeks. I'll be so happy to kick the habits. I'm not worried about doing low-carb for a month though. I've lost weight on Atkins plenty of times. I'm ready for the scale to start moving the other direction!!!!

As for that pesky pumpkin cheesecake ice cream, I have been to two grocery stores with no luck. But I did notice yesterday that one of my local stores has B&J on sale for 3/$10.

Wow! 3 for $10.00? I'd have a hard time passing up that sale!

I think it was bahotmamma who loved the "Willie Nelson Peach Cobbler" flavor of B&J. I tried it and it was absolutely yummy!!!

Thanks for the well wishes!!!

I plan to take several pre-op pics from every single disturbing angle! Upper arms, bust, waist, hips, thighs...am I missing anything? I was thinking of taking my pre-op pics nude, but then I can't very well show them off once I've lost lots of weight!! So I'll more than likely do them in shorts and a tank top.

My faves are Coke Zero and Diet Ginger Ale, but I'll take a little sip of each of your faves and savor it - just for you.

Jaime,

I think the pre-op low carb diet is pretty easy! Think of it! All the meat you want -- along with all the cheese! Yikes!

Ahh - the mind wobbles!

Mmm yea, that's another of my favorites. It's hard to name just one. B&J is definitely my favorite brand of ice cream. So many unique flavors. I'd have to name a Top 5 though, I could never narrow it down to just one!

Speaking of ice cream, I finished my B&J ONE Cheesecake Brownie on Friday night and now I'm all out! One week left of Last Supper Syndrome - I feel a B&J Binge coming on, LOL.

Yes, Dee is right...do pictures and measurements! I did not do either and I sooo wish that I had!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
