Hello....txbucki we are Monday sleevers together...I also am scheduled for 8am. We can do this!!!! When I think of the gas and the time it will take to get out ... I think back on all the times I pigged out and felt so miserable it hurt. It is probably comparable to that and we won't be doing that anymore so the gas pains will go away with time and we can start our new lifestyles. I will be thinking good thoughts for all the June sleevers. Looking forward to this exciting journey with everyone.

Txbucki & Laners.... I go on monday as well! I go in at 5:30 & surgery at 7:30. My emotions are up

and down, but we got this!!!! I can't wait to be on the losing bench. Lets keep in touch. Prayers to you both that we will be comfortable during and after surgery!

Good luck then to all of us on the 24th!

I got sleeved on June 17, it was a crazy experience but I survived it Praise God! I did mine In TJ with Dr. Lopez and got back to Georgia yesterday June 21 I'm so glad). My problem is my oxygen levels are still low and I have a challenge sleeping all night. Does any one else have trouble sleeping? My drain removal had me scared for nothing. All in all I'm glad I did it. No regrets so far. and down 9 lbs already from Mondays surgery date.

@tyer i also have trouble sleeping but did b4 surgery to. I keep waking up...

I had my surgery on June 20. I got to go home today. The pain was more than I expected. I think it's mostly from the gas pressure. I the gas pressure also makes it hard to breath in deep. I just startedassing gas today. Only a little has passes, but is made a huge difference. Was regretting it yesterday, but I'm so pleased i had it done now.

Day 5 preop, im up estoy as usual, but finally slept longer last Night, i giras it better as u go, or me who had problems sleeping b4 surgery was just tires and slept...lol...either way i slept....

Oops sorry my phone types what it feel like...

I had my sleeve on Monday, June 17th. It went well but I felt really bad! I'm feeling better but every time I drink a protein shake I feel like I have to go to the bathroom, nothing comes, though! I'm down 24lbs so I guess I should be happy. Any suggestions on alleviating the grippy stomach I'm all ears.

This week I was go sick of drinking RTE Protein Shakes that even the thought of tasting one made me nauseous. I went to GNC and got some unflavored unsweetened Protein powder (called Pro Performance) and mixed one scoop of that with 8 oz of juice and it was SO much better than the premixed shakes in the can. I've been drinking those all weekend.

Moi day for me too. 2 pm. Nervous...can't sleep so reading posts! Good luck tomorrow. Anyone from Denver?

Try different protein shakes. If you have a smoothie king near you, get a gladiator. Tons of protein and super good.
