This puréed stage is worse than the liquid phase for me! lol I find it absolutely disgusting and horrid to put any kind of meat in a blender. lol I have been living off tuna and smashed up green Beans. I made some crab concoction and smashed my fork into like fifty times today that was okay. lol I'd rather eat Popsicles all day :( I can't wait to start soft foods. Blah!!! Sorry just venting. I know it will get better and I have had good progress

I have been sipping the Isopure drinks. 20 oz =40 grams of Protein. And having crushed ice all day. I love Water and am having a hard time not gulping so the ice has been my saving grace.

Had some Unjury chicken Soup yesterday. Will have some more tomorrow. Going to shoot for 60 grams of protein tomorrow. I am on thin liquids for 3 weeks so I'm sure it will get boring but that will be a small price to pay for a healthy weight and all the health rewards that go with it!

Keep up the great work and speedy recovery to you! :)

I was sleeved on 3/5 by Dr. Nicholson also! How are you doing?

So i just had a mini melt down crying and wondering why i did this to my body and if it was the right thing to do. I guess just feeling really emotional today and gettin gcaught up in the discomfort and all the suckieness that is the first few weeks post op. Anyone else felt this way? :(

Yes, I feel the same sometimes. I have those periods when I wonder if I will be the "normal" again. By normal I mean will I ever get to eat regular food food again? Not normal portions but at least normal food with out it feeling stuck? I was sleeved march 6. Sometimes I can't believe I did something so drastic.

I was sleeved on March 13th. I actually had to stay in the hospital for over a week due to having a kidney stone. The pain from the kidney stone was hard to tolerate. I actually did not have a lot of pain from my sleeve. I've been struggling a little bit. I haven't been taking my daily medications (depression, anxiety) due to swallowing the meds in a powder form. I've been ok and haven't seen any changes. I've also been dealing with the "mental hunger". I am not physically hungry, but i get these times where i can't stop thinking about food and I start breaking down. Is anyone else struggling with this? If so, did it go away with time?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
