Cardio exercises without putting weight on foot?

This is a loaded question.....

I've had some pretty bad ankle pain over the past few months and its stopped me from exercising regularly. I had an MRI last week and I found out that I have tenosynovitis. Im pretty sure that ill have to get a boot on my foot. yay...... :/. Does anyone have any suggestions of good cardio workouts that can be done without putting much weight on my foot? I have defiantly notices that since I hurt my foot, that my weight loss has slowed.

I have bad gout - swimming is my choice!

The weight loss center I go to recommends chair exercises. There are lots of videos on YouTube. Specifically on the sparkpeople channel.

What about recumbent bike? I do that and it takes all the weight from your ankles putting back to your bottom
