I started early in the day and just kept on drinking throughout. I have a 600 ml water bottle and need to drink 6 to get close to a gallon. I made sure I had 3 done this morning before noon. This afternoon, I chugged down a few more throughout the day and then over the course of the evening got the last one in. I've been peeing like crazy. If you try to do this all at once to get it all in, there is no way. Our tummies can't do that. Just do what you can. Putting the effort in is the key.

Throughout the day when I wanted a Reese's Peanut Butter cup or some crackers I thought of you guys, I didn't want to mess up cause if you can do it I can do it....the support for me is great. THANK YOU, again.

coffee w/ 20z milk & stevia

lunch 4oz chicken & spinach

snack almonds-100 cal. Pak

Dinner-4oz organic beef, salsa, 1/2 avocado

Water, dang I messed up, I have 70 oz in. I am still drinking but I can't get much more in. I was gonna down another 30 b4 bed, I am glad stomlin75 reminded me my "dinkie" can't handle all this water in a short amount of time. Tomorrow I will start earlier. Yea, I did not eat any popscycles, skinny cows, frozen yogart or any chocolate or crackers.

Had ham steak for lunch

Protein drink while on the road this afternoon

and chicken tender out of the breast of a roasted chicken.< /p>

I tried to get all the Water in today! I got in 80oz. I don't know how I am going to do it unless I tie a damn Water bottle to my neck and put a straw in it!!!

Oh and I had coffee with non fat milk

Weight this morning 151 (I gained a lb this week about to be TOM)

I vote we weigh in at the end of our 5 days. I have just recently got to where my scale is not my best friend.

if you guys choose to weigh in everyday go for it... just know I will give a status update on Monday morning after all 5 days are complete!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
