Where is the support group meeting at? Is there a schedule?

theres one after the seminar on the 19th. at st.vincents east. or at least thats what i wa told.

Hang in there Eliane....I started my journey in March 2007 and finally got banded today was a week ago.

Still having shoulder and neck pain....and the liquid diet pain.

But I know it is ALL worth it in the end.

Hi Alabama bandsters! I haven't checked this thread in a long time, and just wanted to pop in to say, "Hi!"

My name is Tami, and I was banded 9/5/06 by Dr. Miles at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham. I've lost 120 lbs., and down from a size 26W to a 6-8. Life is good!

Where is the support group meeting at? Is there a schedule?

The lap band support group meeting is held the 3rd Saturday of each month, in seminar rooms 1 & 2, on the 2nd floor at St. Vincent's East, 50 Medical Park East Dr., Trussville. The meeting for post-op patients begins at 10am, and the meeting for everyone, pre- and post-op begins at 10:30.

I plan to be there, and hope to see some of you there, too! (Hi Season...you look mahvelous!)

I was banded Dec 21, 2007 by John Groves in Albertville!! I recommend him to ANYONE!! He's truly amazing!!

Elaine, I am from Tusc also. I am going to be banded on the 28th by Dr Bilton from right here in TTown. Have you checked on him? He did the RNY on the wife 12/19, she is doing great, but the weightloss seems slow. 22 lbs in 4 weeks
