My strange addiction

  • Popular Post

My strange addiction that should be put on tv is the fact that I like getting my stomach cut out and telling other ppl to do it. Even if their skinny. It doesn't matter what age, I even went up to a baby and explained to it that it's healthy. I even went to dog park and consulted with a shitzu. It's gotten very bad. I feel that I should be the poster child! With my cute mug.

Everyone in my house is skinny except me ( fat person?) and my fat dog.

Well I've lost my weight but I will always feel like I'm a "fat person"

Wow I really hate that word usage -__-

Dan those stalls! Perhaps upping his calories for a day?

Yes I think so... Gotta break this :P

Lol this is great! Everyone pets are so cute! And as long as mine love me that's all that matters!

Damn those stalls! Perhaps upping his calories for a day?

funny!

Have you had his thyroid levels checked?

orthodontists have children with crooked teeth, and vets have fat pets :)

Patting myself on back for not going snarky and just letting a comment go...

Don't worry - I have a 15 year old daughter, so I'm a pro at eliciting the eye roll. It's kind of a hobby

I haven't ... I think I will schedule that for him.

I know we are all being silly but honestly I worry about his weight and I feel guilty because I was the contributor to his weight being so high...

True story:

When he was little he was 2 lbs and we let him out to go potty... Next thing we hear is him screaming yelping and my daughter and I make a mad dash for the backyard and I kid you not this huge HUGE bird ( I think a hawk) had him and was carrying him up into the air. My daughter kicked a chair and luckily the bird let go but continued to swoop and circle our yard for weeks and weeks...

So I set into motion to make him too fat for lift off :(

Sad and dumb but true

...

Now the hawk comes by and my dog is too fat to run ugh!!!

OMG Lisa !!! I'm sorry for you and your poor dog!

See, beyond every comedy there is a tragedy..

Omg that's horrible!! Lucky little buddy!

Thank you... I definitely have to fix this

That actually happens quite often. We can't allow kittens outside until they weigh enough not to be carried away by owls, hawks and eagles.

That's so scary about your little pom! I live in the country and unfortunately, this happens a lot around here (also with coyotes and bobcats).

A lot of times a dog's metabolism will go down after getting "fixed," but hypothyroidism is a very common problem, too. I always hope that is the case with overweight pets because it's cheap and easy to remedy.

You're right, it's not really a laughing matter when our pets are obese. I know it's only a matter of time until Pooh Bear develops diabetes if I don't get his weight down. He is the household bully - and with 3 cats and 4 dogs there are plenty of opportunities for him to steal food. (He is on prescription weight loss food).

Good luck with your little guy, Lisa! You can also try giving him green Beans, carrots, a few cheerios for low-fat, low-cal treats. Just a couple of ideas.
